Plenty of meals for breakfast, it was excellent. It was based in lovely building in a quiet and ideal location, away from home "up in the hills.

The peaceful location made it convenient to reach all the places we wanted to visit, the room was clean with a separate bathroom, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

The Hill Town Cottage is a charming old hotel in a central area. the deluxe queen room offers a comfortable bed, television, sitting area, and a writing desk. - It is situated in a quiet location around a 10-15 minute walk from Nuwara Eliya Post Office.

The units are spacious and come with thick blankets. There is a balcony to enjoy the views. The shower is very nice. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. The location is excellent, especially during the festival in the lake area.

The charming cottage nestled in Nuwara Eliya transported me to a whimsical garden paradise. With the beautiful garden views, I felt like I was Alice in Wonderland, surrounded by enchanting flora and fauna.

As a senior woman, I appreciated the accessibility of the hotel, with easy navigation and comfortable seating arrangements throughout the property. It was a delight to relax in the shared lounge area, surrounded by beautiful garden views.

Only suggestion for improvement would be slight noise reduction during festive events near the lake area. Nonetheless, I understand that this may have affected all nearby hotels, and the children working there were doing their best to ensure a pleasant stay.

We also enjoyed the cozy common area and the mini garden outside. Ragu, one of the staff members, was especially fantastic, providing excellent service with a warm smile. Cons: Can't fault the property in any way! ⭐️.

The WiFi may be a bit wobbly at times, but it's not a major issue.

The only downside is the occasional noise from the barking dogs in the middle of the night, which can be a bit of a nuisance.

They went above and beyond to fulfill all our requests, from arranging transportation to Horton Plains to preparing a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast and even catering to our special dinner request.
